About Éalú Psychotherapy

Éalú Psychotherapy is a private psychotherapy practice offering online therapy, workshops, and specialised support in perinatal mental health. The name Éalú, which means 'escape' or 'release' in Irish, embodies the core purpose of the practice: to create a space for individuals to let go, reflect, and grow. The practice is committed to providing a compassionate and non-judgmental environment where individuals can explore their mental health and well-being at their own pace.

My name is Klara, and I am a psychotherapist pre-accredited with APCP and a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland.

I have a special interest in integrative counselling and perinatal mental health, and a passion for supporting people through the complex, often challenging transitions of life, whether that’s navigating anxiety, grief, identity shifts, or the emotional landscape of parenthood.

I hold a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy (Integrative Modalities) from ICHAS, as well as a Higher Diploma in Psychology (PSI-accredited) from Dublin Business School. My approach combines various therapeutic models tailored to each individual’s needs, with a strong focus on building a safe, collaborative relationship.

Specialised Training Background

Over the years, I’ve pursued additional training to deepen my ability to support clients in specific areas, especially around (in)fertility, pregnancy (loss), and early parenthood:

> I am an Advanced Pregnancy and Infant Loss Practitioner and Approved Trainer by the Foundation for Infant Loss (UK)

> I am currently training with Postpartum Support International (PSI) to become certified as a Perinatal Mental Health Consultant (PMH-C)

> I am a Bringing Baby Home Educator, trained by the Gottman Institute

> I have completed the Birth Trauma Training through MakeBirthBetter.org
